What to consume to enhance your Immunity

Immunity is extremely important during a virus outbreak. There are many ways to enhance one’s immunity, such as getting enough sleep, exercise regularly, managing stress level and practice a healthy diet to take in immune enhancing nutrients.

Berries such as elderberry, blueberry, bilberry and other are some of the foods that are rich in anthocyanins, other than those fruits such as grapes and its seeds are also full of anthocyanins.

Studies shown that anthocyanins extract from elderberry possess antimicrobial activity against bacteria. Anthocyanins can boost production of cytokines thus regulate our human immune responses, other than that it can provide anti-inflammatory, antioxidant effects to the consumer.

Anthocyanins is a type of flavonoid, a class of compounds with antioxidant effect that Anthocyanins are the pigments that decided plants rich coloring it can be in red, purple and blue color.

Seaweed and Algae many of these are known to have are known to have a variety of vitamins, minerals and even some special nutrient such as Fucoidan, they are very nutritious and provide numerous health benefits.
